Peugeot 205 T16

The Peugeot 205 T16 is more than a rally car, it’s a motorsport legend. Born during the fierce Group B rally era of the 1980s, the T16 was Peugeot’s answer to the world’s most extreme racing machines. Compact yet immensely powerful, it combined a mid-mounted turbocharged engine with four-wheel drive, setting new benchmarks for agility, traction, and balance. Its success on rally stages around the globe, including back-to-back World Rally Championship titles in 1985 and 1986,  made it one of the most revered vehicles in Peugeot’s storied history.

Only 200 road-going units of the 205 T16 were ever built to meet Group B regulations, making it a true collector’s car.
Unlike the standard Peugeot 205, the T16’s mid-mounted engine delivers perfect balance and exceptional handling, allowing precise control at high speeds.
Powered by a 1.8-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the T16 produces around 200 horsepower in road trim, remarkable for its time and thrilling even today.
The advanced AWD drivetrain ensures superior traction on gravel, snow, and tarmac, giving the T16 its unbeatable rally edge.
Its flared arches, aerodynamic bodywork, and aggressive stance distinguish it instantly from its production siblings.
The rear wing, front splitter, and wider track contribute to improved stability and downforce during high-speed cornering.
